1) Do you accept international orders?
Yes, we ship to over 100 countries spanning 5 continents! We do not ship to Africa or Antarctica. Our international orders have a minimum subtotal order of $200.00 and a maximum subtotal order of $1,000.00 (the subtotal minimums and maximums do not include the shipping, handling, and insurance; those items can be added so that the actual, total order allowed can be greater than $1,000.00).
2) What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diner’s Club, American Express, and PayPal. These payment options are available during Checkout.
3) Where may I see the ingredients for each product?
Each product on our web site has a detailed ingredients list. On the product detail page of each product, simply click on the "INGREDIENTS" tab to view the complete ingredients list and product net weight which is shown in ounces (oz) or grams (g) or milliliters (ml).
4) Do you charge sales tax in my state?
We only collect sales tax in California.
5) Do you take orders by phone?
We only accept orders via our website. However, for any questions, or any other special matters, you may contact us by: a) Filling out our online Customer Care Form; or b) Emailing us directly at info@AlexisVogel.com; or c) Calling our Toll Free Customer Care Voicemail at 1-800-908-7801.
6) What is the status of my order?
Your order status will be available after your order has been placed, by simply clicking on the "MY ACCOUNT" link located at the bottom of each page under the “SERVICE” category. From there, you will be able to view information about your order(s). NOTE: You must be logged into our AlexisVogel.com website for the "MY ACCOUNT" link to be functional.
7) What do you charge for shipping an order?
Domestic Shipments (within the US): We offer two shipping methods: a) USPS Priority Mail $6.95 for quantity of 4 items or less; or b) USPS Priority Mail $12.95 for quantity of 5 items or more; or c) USPS Priority Mail Express $36.95 (per kit). 1International Shipments (shipments outside of the U.S.): a) USPS Priority Mail International only. b) We require International Shipping Insurance (approximately $1 per $100 of your Subtotal order). c) Plus an International Handling Fee of $5.00. d) The International Shipping Insurance and the International Handling Fee will show on your International Order during Checkout.
8) What are the delivery times for a typical order?
We only ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) both domestically and internationally. Domestically, USPS Priority Mail usually takes from 1-3 days, from shipment date, and USPS Priority Mail Express typically takes from 1-2 days, from shipment date, for delivery Monday – Saturday. USPS delivery times vary depending upon the “Shipping Address” and the shipping method chosen. International shipment times can vary depending upon the destination country, the specific address within that country, and numerous other factors. However, typically USPS Priority Mail International takes 7-10 days from shipment date. Orders are shipped on business days (Monday - Friday, excluding major holidays).
9) Do you ship to PO Boxes?
We do not ship to PO Boxes. Please provide a physical address for shipping.
10) Do you allow Backorders?
Yes, we allow Backorders! While we try our best to have everything in our online store available 100% of the time, from time to time we do run out of some items. We do not allow out of stock items to be ordered, however, we do allow Backordered items to be ordered. Items are considered out of stock if they cannot ship within thirty (30) days as opposed to Backordered items which are items that are out of stock that can ship within thirty (30) days. You may not prepay for items that are out of stock, however, you may prepay for items which are Backordered. If an item is out of stock it will say out of stock on the product page (or Coming Soon); if an item is Backordered, it will say Backordered on the product page. Backorders may be placed online only. Backorders are charged 100% upfront and will be shipped immediately upon receiving the item in stock. You may cancel a Backorder at any time, however, you will be charged a 20% Backorder cancellation fee. Please understand that because we are at the mercy of the manufacturer when receiving products, we do not always have a definitive/reliable ETA on Backorders. However, we always do our best to ship the products to you in a timely manner! We may have other equivalent products available that are not necessarily in the Related Products section of a product's page. You may email us or call us and we will always do our utmost to help find you what you need.
11) Does AlexisVogel.com test on animals?
We are PETA Approved and do not test on animals. We do not have any suppliers that conduct animal testing on our behalf! We use only the highest quality ingredients which have a proven safety record for use in the cosmetics business.
12) Do any of your products contain sunscreens (SPF)?
We formulated our products without chemical sunscreens to prevent interaction with a person’s preferred daily moisturizer.
13) Why do some products include Parabens?
We strive to ensure that our products present no health risks from contamination from potentially harmful microorganisms by using preservatives such as parabens. It is important to use preservatives to prevent bacterial and fungal contamination. With the high level of natural ingredients in our formulations, the absence of preservatives would require our products to be refrigerated and would need to be used within approximately two weeks after production which would make manufacture, storage and delivery to the customer virtually impossible, therefore, we use parabens. Parabens have been used for over 70 years and are approved by the USFDA for use in a wide variety of consumer products, including foods and beverages. Parabens provide a critical role in frontline defense for preventing disease and infection in humans by preventing fungal and bacterial contamination. Parabens are recognized as safe by the World Health Organization as well as government agencies around the world. In the United States, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR), an expert panel (an independent body of internationally recognized medical and scientific experts in safety evaluation), has reviewed parabens and concluded that they are safe for use in cosmetic products. And, all of our products are allergy and dermatologist tested.
